Zoals gewoonlijk hebben ze door geduldig onderzoek in het laboratorium, gekoppeld aan vele uren vergelijkend luisteren, het geheel van de elektro-akoestische parameters van de EUTERPE JUBILE aanzienlijk kunnen verbeteren.
Het ontwerp van de EUTERPE JUBILE begon met een leeg blad. Ze wilden het belastingsprincipe en het volume behouden, maar ze hebben de midrange/bass driver en de tweeter vervangen en de crossover volledig herzien.
De resultaten overtreffen onze verwachtingen en zetten een nieuwe standaard in deze productcategorie. Het geluid is nog levendiger, veel helderder, bijzonder homogeen, met rijke en gevarieerde klankkleuren, het ontwikkelt een zeer breed, diep en stabiel stereofonisch beeld. Zijn extreme bas is zeer gearticuleerd en van een zeer mooie dichtheid die openhartige gevoelens van impact geeft met een zeer goed gedrag. Het luisteren lijkt perfect vloeiend, zonder breuken over het hele spectrum, met een echt gevoel van analyse. Hij opent verbazingwekkende perspectieven voor het luisteren en overtreft verreweg zijn voorganger op alle technische criteria, maar vooral op muzikaal gebied.
De EUTERPE JUBILE is werkelijk veelzijdig en zal muziekliefhebbers van alle soorten muziek verrukken door urenlang luisteren zonder vermoeidheid. Hij distilleert met gemak een muzikaliteit van de hoogste orde en in alle opzichten in overeenstemming met de filosofie van de meest ambitieuze modellen in het JMR huidige assortiment.

			'description_en' => 'We took advantage of this technical redesign to apply the new styling codes of the Jubilee range with a wide fillet on its horizontal rear edge, which refines its silhouette advantageously.
As usual, it is by a patient study in laboratory, associated with long hours of comparative listening, that we were able to improve very appreciably the whole of its electroacoustic parameters of the EUTERPEJUBILE.
We started from a blank page for its conception. We wanted to keep its loading principle and its volume, but we replaced its midrange/bass driver and its tweeter and completely revised its crossover.
The results are beyond our expectations and set a new standard in this product category. Its listening is even more alive, much more luminous, particularly homogeneous, with rich and varied timbres, it develops a very wide, deep and stable stereophonic image. Its extreme bass is very articulated and of a very beautiful density getting frank feelings of impact with a very good behaviour. The listening seems perfectly fluid, without rupture on the whole spectrum, with a true sense of analysis. It opens astonishing perspectives to the listening and exceeds by far its predecessor on the whole of the technical criteria, but especially musical.
Truly versatile, the EUTERPEJUBILE will delight music lovers of all kinds of music by providing hours and hours of fatigue-free listening. It distills with ease a musicality of the highest order and in every respect in line with the philosophy of the most ambitious models in our current range.

LOADING PRINCIPLE:
Tuned triangular line, no internal parallel walls, which reduces the formation of standing waves and allows the use of a minimum of absorber. The use of internal viscoelastic absorbers transforms vibration energy into heat without loss of micro-information.
Tweeter installed in an isolated volume guaranteeing a total inertia and avoiding any mechanical intermodulation with the woofer.
Mechanical tensioning of the boomer thanks to a stainless steel threaded rod (non-magnetic) passing through the cabinet from one side to the other, resting on the boomer head and on the bottom of the cabinet. The tension is adjusted with a high-precision torque wrench to ensure the same tightening torque. This axial mounting of the bass driver allows for tensioning of the cabinet walls and ensures evenly distributed mechanical forces between the loudspeaker basket and the supporting baffle, which dramatically improves the transient response of the system.

Vervangingen voor en verbeteringen op Magnepan's eerbiedwaardige, koopjes kelder MMG's, de twee-weg LRS's (Little Ribbon Loudspeakers) zien er identiek uit aan hun voorgangers, alleen zijn ze uitgerust met alle quasi-ribbon drivers, waar de MMG's gebruik maakten van een quasi-ribbon tweeter en een "ouderwetse" planar-magnetische mid/woofer.  Het resultaat van deze toename in het aantal drivers is een duidelijk snellere transientrespons, een hogere resolutie van de innerlijke details, een grotere coherentie met de quasi-ribbon tweeter en een neutralere klank over het geheel genomen.  Zonder subwoofer kunnen de Little Ribbons de lagere diepten niet zo diep raken als de grotere panelen van Maggie en, sub of niet, ze maken de hoge tonen in het middenbereik iets ruwer en rollen dan af, maar in het middenbereik klinken ze als het echte werk, en dat, mensen, is geen gegeven, ongeacht hoeveel u uitgeeft. Wat is een lint luidspreker?
Lint- en elektrostatische luidsprekers zijn elegant en eenvoudig. De lucht wordt bewogen en geluidsgolven worden gecreëerd door een ultralicht film- of aluminiumlint te bewegen. Replacements for and improvements upon Magnepan's venerable, bargain basement MMG's, the two-way LRS's (Little Ribbon Loudspeakers) look identical to their predecessors, only they are equipped with all quasi-ribbon drivers, where the MMG's used a quasi-ribbon tweeter and an "old fashioned" planar-magnetic mid/woof.  The result of this uptick in driver complement is markedly faster transient response, higher resolution of inner detail, greater coherence with the quasi-ribbon tweeter, and more neutral voicing overall.  Minus a subwoofer, the Little Ribbons won't plumb the lower depths like Maggie's larger panels do and, sub or no, they slightly roughen up then roll off the mid-to-top treble, but in the midrange they sound like the real thing, and that, folks, is not a given, no matter how much you spend. In de 2,5-inch constructie werd net als in het Diamond 28-model de bekende Scan Speak textieldome gebruikt, de middentonen en de onderkant van de streng werden verzorgd door een paar 15 cm Norwegian Seas converters. De Diamond 25 biedt een geluid dat dynamisch en consistent is en de opnamen goed onderscheidt. Door de lichte kanteling van de constructie werd het beoogde visuele effect verkregen in combinatie met de optimalisatie van de faseafhankelijkheid tussen de luidsprekers.
In de Diamond 25 set is de besturing geinstalleerd met de directe installatietechniek, en zijn alleen polypropyleen condensatoren gebruikt. De plaats van de spoelen werd geoptimaliseerd om de interactie te minimaliseren. 
De luidsprekerbehuizingen van de Diamond 25 set zijn gemaakt volgens dezelfde techniek als die van het Diamond 28-model. De constructie bestaat uit massieve MDF-platen en voor de demping werden bitumineuze matten en schapenwol gebruikt. De hele constructie werd binnenin verstijfd met de extra versterking.
De kolom werd in de sokkel geplaatst, die behalve een esthetische indruk ook een antitrilplatform voor de luidsprekerset vormt. 

Diamond 25 is een unieke combinatie van een natuurlijke klank en het karakteristieke uiterlijk van de nieuwe lijn. De kleinere set integreert beter in kleinere kamers terwijl het karakter van het geluid, bekend van de Diamond 28 zuilen, behouden blijft.

De zuilen zijn bedoeld voor gebruik in kamers met een vloeroppervlak van 18 tot circa 35 m2.

			'description_en' => 'Diamond 25 is a compact version of the Diamond 28 model.

In the 2,5-inch construction as in Diamond 28 model the Scan Speak textile dome was used, the midrange and the bottom of the strand were handled by a pair of 15 cm Norwegian Seas converters. Diamond 25 is offering a sound that is dynamic, consistent and well-differentiating the recordings. Through the slight tilt of the construction was obtained the intended visual effect combined with the optimization of the phase dependance between the speakers.
In the Diamond 25 set the steering is installed with the direct installation technique, and only polypropylene capacitors were used in it. The location of the coils was optimised in order to minimise the interaction. 
The loudspeaker enclosures of Diamond 25 set were made in the same technique as in the Diamond 28 model. The construction is made from the solid MDF boards, bituminous mats and sheep's wool were being used for dampening. The whole construction was stiffened inside with the additional reinforcement.
The column was placed in the plinth, which apart from giving aesthetic impressions is also anti-vibration platform for the speaker set. 

Diamond 25 is a unique combination of natural sounding and characteristic of the new line original look of the construction. Smaller set will integrate better in smaller rooms while keeping the character of the sounding well known from Diamond 28 columns.

De plaatsing van de spoelen is geoptimaliseerd om interferentie te minimaliseren. 

De luidsprekerbehuizingen zijn gemaakt van massief MDF, dat bovendien is versterkt met een binnenrand. Om het geluid te onderdrukken werden bitumen matten en schapenwol aangebracht. De luidspreker werd op een voetstuk geplaatst, dat niet alleen een esthetische indruk maakt, maar ook een trillingsvrij platform biedt voor de luidsprekerset.

Diamond 30, in addition to sophistication, known from smaller models, offers more communication and insight into recordings. The presentation gains on neutrality while maintaining a musical atmosphere. The 3-way system, thanks to greater freedom in shaping the characteristics, offers lower bass descent, without losing any of the transmission in the whole band. The set has been configured in such way that it will be able to provide adequate sound coverage for larger rooms.

Dit model, dat in het hart van het JMR assortiment staat, heeft bij de maker altijd een grote verbondenheid gewekt. Het synthetiseert in zichzelf de klankesthetiek die JMR zo dierbaar is.
Vloeiendheid, nuance, verfijning, spontaniteit en beweeglijkheid kenmerken deze compacte luidspreker met zijn sobere en tijdloze ontwerp. Zijn slanke silhouet, met zijn kleine kop boven de sierlijk geproportioneerde kast, is kenmerkend voor bepaalde JMR-producties. Dankzij het onderzoeks- en ontwikkelingswerk van de afgelopen jaren op geavanceerd akoestisch en elektronisch gebied zijn we erin geslaagd muzikale prestaties te bereiken die enkele jaren geleden nog ondenkbaar waren. De CANTABILE Jubilee heeft geprofiteerd van de resultaten van dit onderzoek, waardoor het een opmerkelijk niveau van realisme en klankrijpheid heeft bereikt.

Zo is zijn crossover volledig herzien en hebben ze de luidspreker uitgerust met een gloednieuwe tweeter die bijzonder krachtig is. Deze geimpregneerde zijden dometweeter is ondergebracht in een nieuwe lading met een geoptimaliseerd profiel. De diameter van de neuskegel is aanzienlijk vergroot, en hij is verder naar achteren op de kast geplaatst om een uiterst nauwkeurige dynamische fasering mogelijk te maken. De lengte is vergroot en de kromming van het profiel is verzacht.
Dankzij de zeer lage resonantiefrequentie van deze tweeter en zijn zeer lage vervormingsgraad konden we de verbindingsfrequentie met de bas-midrange luidspreker verlagen tot 3 kHz. De helling van zijn filtering van 12 dB/octaaf biedt een crossover met de midrange bij slechts 0,2 graad fasedraaiing, en zijn directiviteit is bijzonder laag.
De filtering is uitgevoerd met zo weinig mogelijk componenten, waardoor de CANTABILE Jubilee veel beter reageert en nog gemakkelijker van stroom kan worden voorzien.
De gehele waarde van de componenten, evenals hun aard, is herzien om een nog levendiger en dynamischer luidspreker te verkrijgen.

Ondanks zijn ultracompacte afmetingen voor een vloerstaande luidspreker biedt de CANTABILE Jubilee een bijzonder vol, breed en diep geluidsbeeld en een formidabele precisie. Het reikt niet alleen in de breedte, maar ook in de hoogte en diepte, ver voorbij de geometrie van de behuizing. Het blijft onverstoorbaar, zelfs bij zeer grote niveauverschillen, zonder projectie of hardheid, maar alles in licht en nuances. De kleine buigingen van het spel van de musicus volgen op natuurlijke wijze, zonder vals licht. De transienten zijn levendig en precies, maar nooit ontdaan van hun complexe harmonische omhullende.

De waarachtigheid en menselijkheid van het middenregister van de CANTABILE zijn altijd al opgemerkt door veeleisende muziekliefhebbers. In deze Jubileumversie behoudt de CANTABILE wat hem door de jaren heen succesvol heeft gemaakt, maar met nog meer vloeibaarheid en luchtigheid. De rijke en gevarieerde klankkleuren zijn echt natuurlijk en nooit buitensporig; men ervaart duidelijk het gevoel van "deja entendu" dat alleen het "live"-gebeuren kan geven.

De snelle en perfect gecontroleerde bas wordt nooit karikaturaal of overbodig. Hij regelt het luisteren perfect en biedt voldoende energie voor een kamer van gemiddelde grootte.
Zijn bandbreedte is uiterst lineair, en bovenal biedt hij een opmerkelijke homogeniteit voor een luidspreker van deze omvang. De CANTABILE Jubilee is even wendbaar en alert op een strijkkwartet als op hedendaagse muziek en biedt de luisteraar urenlang luisterplezier zonder vermoeidheid. Zijn royale output zorgt ervoor dat hij kan worden geassocieerd met kwaliteitsversterkers, maar niet per se krachtig. Dankzij zijn grote ontwikkelingspotentieel kan hij het centrale element worden van een vaste audiofiele installatie van zeer hoge kwaliteit. Thus, we have completely revised its crossover, and we have equipped the speaker with a brand new tweeter particularly powerful. This impregnated silk dome tweeter is housed in a new load with an optimized profile. The diameter of the nose cone has been significantly increased, and it is positioned further back on the cabinet to allow for ultra-precise dynamic phasing. Its length has been increased, and the curve of its profile has been softened.
The very low resonance frequency of this tweeter and its very low distortion rate allowed us to lower the connection frequency with the bass-midrange speaker to 3 kHz. The slope of its 12 dB/octave filtering offers a crossover with the midrange at only 0.2 degree phase rotation, and its directivity is particularly low.
The filtering has been done with as few components as possible, making the CANTABILE Jubilee much more responsive and even easier to power.

The entire value of the components, as well as their nature, has been revised in order to obtain an even more lively and dynamic speaker.
Although its size is ultra-compact for a floorstanding speaker, the CANTABILE Jubilee offers a particularly full, wide and deep sound image, and a formidable precision. It extends not only in width, but also in height and depth, far beyond the geometry of the enclosure. It remains unperturbed, even at the time of the very great variations of levels, without any projection nor hardness, but all in light and nuances. The tiny inflections of the musician’s playing follow naturally without false light. The transients are vivid and precise, but never stripped of their complex harmonic envelope.

The veracity and humanity of the CANTABILE’s middle register have always been noted by discerning music lovers. In this Jubilee version, the CANTABILE retains what has made it successful over the years, but with even more fluidity and airiness. The rich and varied timbres are truly natural, and never outrageous; one clearly perceives this feeling of “déjà entendu” that only the “live” event is capable of providing.

Zo ontstond ORFEO GRANDE, dat in het gamma boven de huidige ORFEO JUBILEE wordt geplaatst zonder deze te vervangen.

Zijn silhouet, al jaren een visuele handtekening van JMR-modellen, wordt nu benadrukt door zijn tweekleurige afwerking die zijn rondingen met grote elegantie verlicht en tekent. Het gebruik van edele materialen zoals aluminium accentueert zijn sculpturale aspect en het is een opmerkelijk object in een hedendaags of klassiek interieur. De soberheid van zijn ontwerp is een veronderstelde keuze, het maakt het mogelijk om tegelijkertijd eenvoudige en mooie objecten te verwezenlijken, verankerd in hun tijd, die zeer lang een valoriserend aspect zullen behouden met slim gekozen proporties. Zo zal ORFEO GRANDE de tijd en de mode doorstaan zonder te verouderen.

Genesis:
Het werk overnemen op basis van een bestaand model dat zo krachtig is als ORFEO JUBILEE is geen gemakkelijke opgave.
De hele infrastructuur is volledig herzien, de kast, de filtering en de luidsprekers zijn verbeterd. VOCEGRANDE, met zijn extreme delicatesse en zijn unieke finesse van restitutie, heeft onze normen aanzienlijk verhoogd. Het was noodzakelijk in ORFEO GRANDE al deze kwaliteiten terug te vinden door er de kracht en de energie van een kolomluidspreker aan toe te voegen, met behoud van het karakter en de persoonlijkheid die er zo aan kleven.
Het onderzoek in het laboratorium en vooral het luisteren heeft maanden en maanden geduurd om tot het verwachte resultaat te komen. Daarom is ORFEO GRANDE nu de meest succesvolle passieve luidspreker die JMR ooit heeft gemaakt in de 55 jaar van zijn bestaan.

Resultaten:
Helderder, stiller, delicater en tegelijkertijd sterker dan ooit, concentreert ORFEO GRANDE alle knowhow van JMR. Hij vat de essentie van de geluidsfilosofie van JMR-producten samen en verlegt opnieuw de prestatiegrenzen van een luidspreker van dit formaat.

De timbres zijn van extreme verfijning en nauwkeurigheid, zonder vals licht of kleuring. Zij speelt complexe muziek met een volkomen onbeschaamd gemak en lijkt nooit te worstelen om de dynamiek weer te geven. Of het nu extreem is op grote orkestrale formaties, of subtiel en perfect genuanceerd op kleine formaties of stemmen. Deze laatste zijn vleselijk, maar ook perfect gearticuleerd met een bijna tastbare aanwezigheid. De dictie, de articulatie van elk woord, de ademhaling, de tweeklanken, dat alles lijkt volkomen natuurlijk en geintegreerd, nooit kunstmatig naar voren gebracht, wat een perfect begrip van de teksten mogelijk maakt en nog beter van de bedoeling en de betekenis van een interpretatie.

De muziek wordt uitgedrukt zonder dwang, met kracht en autoriteit, maar op een perfect ontspannen manier, zonder enig fenomeen van projectie of hardheid. De precisie maakt een uitstekende leesbaarheid van de frasering en de intentie van de musici mogelijk en toch heeft men nooit het gevoel de details te deconstrueren of te overspelen. De klank is vol, vloeiend in het extreme, rijk over het gehele hoorbare spectrum en van constante dichtheid, die tijdens het luisteren een gevoel van permanent welzijn geeft dat de muzikale emotie bevordert.
Het middenregister is zowel rijk als transparant, het geeft op zeer natuurlijke wijze alle complexe sonoriteiten weer met een nauwgezet respect voor de harmonische gradatie, een essentiele parameter om elk type instrument volledig te identificeren. De harmonische frictie van snaarinstrumenten, de extreme complexiteit van de klankkleuren van een piano, de resonantie van een gitaarnoot, alles lijkt ruimer. De eindnoten duren langer met een natuurlijk en zeer regelmatig verval en lijken nooit afgekapt. De superpositie van de verschillende timbres die een expressief beeld vormen met zeer gevarieerde kleuren, zorgen voor een ware auditieve jubelstemming. Dankzij de toepassing van het polymeer ontkoppelingssysteem van de basis is het lagere deel van het spectrum, van het lage middengebied tot de extreme bas, sensationeel. Perfect gearticuleerd en zeer dicht, drukt hij zich uit met een enthousiaste dynamiek, waardoor een zeer openhartige en goed gecontroleerde sensatie van impact ontstaat. Hij overspeelt nooit, maar weet zich toch bijzonder indrukwekkend te maken als de muziek daarom vraagt. Dankzij dit ontkoppelingsprincipe resoneren de laatste octaven niet met het vloermateriaal, wat zich vertaalt in een bas die zich op natuurlijke wijze binnen het klankbeeld bevindt en nooit de indruk wekt ervoor te kruipen. Bevrijd van elke parasitaire trilling onderstreept hij, waar nodig, het gevoel van aanwezigheid en geeft de muzikale boodschap een zeer realistische dimensie en proporties.

Een kickdrum, een orgelpedaal, een synthesizerpad of elk ander percussie-instrument dat het diepste deel van het spectrum bereikt, wordt dan op een volledige en complete manier weergegeven tot in het uiterste laag. Nooit lijkt de boodschap opgeblazen of verward, integendeel, men ontdekt dat men elementen die gewoonlijk in de mist van deze zo moeilijk weer te geven frequenties versmelten, gedetailleerd weergeeft.

Genesis:
Taking over the work on the basis of an existing model as powerful as ORFÉOJUBILE is not an easy task.
All its infrastructure has been completely revisited, its cabinetry, its filtering, its speakers have been improved. VOCEGRANDE, with its extreme delicacy and its unique finesse of restitution, has significantly raised our standards. It was necessary to find in ORFÉOGRANDE all these qualities by adding the force and the energy of a column loudspeaker, while respecting its character and its personality so attaching.
It will have taken months and months for the research in laboratory and especially in listening, to lead to the expected result. This is why ORFÉOGRANDE is now the most successful passive loudspeaker ever made by JMR in the 55 years of its existence.
Results:
Brighter, quieter, more delicate and at the same time stronger than ever, ORFÉOGRANDE concentrates all the JMR know-how. It synthesizes the essence of the sound philosophy of JMR products, and once again, it pushes the performance limits of a loudspeaker of this size.
The sound image is truly spectacular, extending naturally and consistently beyond the system in width, height and depth and offering a scrupulous respect for the sound spaces of each recording.
The timbres are of extreme refinement and accuracy, without false light or coloration.
She plays complex music with an utterly insolent ease and never seems to struggle to reproduce the dynamics. Whether it is extreme on large orchestral formations, or subtle and perfectly nuanced on small formations or voices. The latter are carnal, but also perfectly articulated with an almost palpable presence. The diction, the articulation of each word, the breaths, the diphthongs, all that seems perfectly natural and integrated, never artificially put forward, that allows a perfect comprehension of the texts and better still of the intention and the meaning of an interpretation.
The music is expressed without constraint, with force and authority, but in a perfectly relaxed way, without any phenomenon of projection or hardness. Its precision allows an excellent readability of the phrasing and the intention of the musicians and yet one never has the feeling of deconstructing or overplaying the details. The sound message is full, fluid in the extreme, rich on all the audible spectrum and of constant density, that gets during the listening a feeling of permanent well-being that facilitates the musical emotion.
Its middle register is both rich and transparent, it depicts in a very natural way all the complex sonorities with a scrupulous respect of the harmonic gradation, essential parameter to fully identify each type of instrument. The harmonic friction of stringed instruments, the extreme complexity of the timbres of a piano, the resonance of a guitar note, everything seems more ample. The end notes last longer with a natural and very regular decay and never seem to be truncated. The superposition of the different timbres which form an expressive picture with very varied colors, provide a real auditory jubilation.
Thanks to the adoption of the polymer decoupling system of its base, the lower part of the spectrum from the low midrange to the extreme bass is sensational. Perfectly articulated and very dense, it expresses itself with an enthusiastic dynamism, giving a very frank and well controlled sensation of impact. He never overplays, yet he knows how to make himself particularly impressive when the music demands it. This decoupling principle allows the last octaves not to resonate with the floor material, which translates into a bass that is naturally positioned within the sound image and never gives the impression of crawling before it. Cleared of any parasitic vibration, it underlines, when necessary, the feeling of presence and gives the musical message a very realistic dimension and proportions. A kick drum, an organ pedal, a synthesizer pad or any other percussion instrument reaching the deepest part of the spectrum is then reproduced in a full and complete way to the extreme low end. Never does the message seem bloated or confused, on the contrary, one finds oneself detailing elements that are usually melted in the fog of these frequencies so difficult to reproduce with acuity.

			'description_en' => 'Developed patiently and with great rigor, the ORFEO in this Jubilee version is the quintessence of JMR know-how.
Extremely linear and generating a signal of a constant density whatever the register, it distils with a real ease a subtle musicality, without caricature, and very nuanced. Equally at ease with small acoustic ensembles as with the telluric loads of a symphony orchestra, it gives the impression of serenity coming from a system without limits.
The ORFEOJUBILE is not an improvement of the Supreme V2 version but a complete new development around the same concept. A relatively compact 2.5 way loudspeaker with a very high level of timbre and energy.
All the technical elements have been revised: Load, speakers, filtering and even its aesthetics. We find the silhouette of this new Jubilee line with a large fillet on the rear horizontal edge of the cabinet. It is also slightly more voluminous to match the tuning of its new perfectly optimized acoustic load and tuned even lower. The harmonic richness that characterizes JMR products is perfectly respected, without exaggeration and without sacrificing the transparency and immediacy necessary for a good reading of the musical message. The interpretation of a work, even a very complex one, becomes surprisingly easy to understand and listening is effortless, quite natural. Technically very sophisticated it was as usual sharpened and validated by long hours of listening. This makes it possible, where measurement no longer shows anything, to optimize its performance even better, bearing in mind that a system, however elaborate it may be, must above all be a true vector of emotions.
Thanks to its very good efficiency and the exemplary linearity of its impedance curve, the ORFEOJUBILE is easy to feed. However, it requires very well made electronics with well dimensioned power supplies in order to take full advantage of its very nice vivacity and its impressive dynamic capacities. Although it has a very wide frequency response in the low end of the spectrum, the ORFEOJUBILE is easy to position, even in a relatively small room. The proportions of its geometry and its extremely meticulous finish make it a precious object that can be easily integrated into any interior, whether classic or contemporary

VOCEGRANDE ontroerde me vanaf de eerste momenten van het luisteren, het geeft een heel bijzondere betekenis aan mijn eigenzinnigheid om steeds verder te gaan om het hart van de muziek te bereiken. It is often said that a creator gives life to the objects he conceives, with VOCEGRANDE, not only did I reveal a soul in it, but it was also able to give body to the impalpable.
VOCEGRANDE moved me from the first moments of its listening, it gives a very particular meaning to my obstinacy to advance always further in order to reach the heart of the music. While listening to it, I can’t help but think of Claude Debussy’s phrase: “Beauty must be sensitive, it must give us an immediate pleasure, it must impose itself or insinuate itself into us without us having to make any effort to grasp it.”

Alle componenten die zijn gebruikt in de crossover-circuits zijn afkomstig van marktleider Mundorf. Luchtspoelen en condensatoren met ultralage vervorming zorgen ervoor dat elke driver zijn maximale prestaties kan leveren.

De 180 mm (7 inch) mid-bass driver heeft een aluminium conus en een massief gelegeerde faseplug en is voorzien van een motorsysteem met dubbele kortsluitpaden voor een zeer lage vervorming.

De prestaties van de kritieke middenband worden verder verbeterd door de achterkant van de driver in een verborgen subbehuizing te monteren. Door de mid-bass driver niet een maar twee keer te isoleren, kunnen de buitenwanden van de kast het geluid niet kleuren.De ingangen voor de bindingspinnen zijn van de wereldleider WBT en hebben geleiders van zeer zuiver koper, geplateerd in 24-karaats goud met een chroomafwerking.

			'description_en' => 'VOODOO is a floorstanding loudspeaker capable of powering even the largest rooms with ease. Key to its impressive sense of scale is the combination of dual 265mm (10.5") bass drivers and our unique AEROFLEX bass system.

Each bass driver features a rigid aluminium cone driven by a motor system containing three shorting rings which help reduce distortion to extremely low levels.

The bass drivers have a linear movement of over an inch and coupled with AEROFLEX they can produce vast amounts of detailed and accurate bass.

The plinth upon which VOODOO sits is individually CNC machined from a solid block of aluminium. Weighing 11kg it provides a stable and solid base for the speaker to work from.

A 22mm Sonomex soft dome tweeter provides smooth and detailed high frequencies for an enveloping listening experience that won't tire your ears out.

All of the components used in the crossover circuits are from industry leaders Mundorf. Air cored coils and ultra-low distortion capacitors ensure each driver can deliver its absolute maximum performance.

The 180mm (7") mid-bass driver features an aluminium cone and solid alloy phase plug and features a motor system with twin shorting paths for very low distortion.

The performance of the critical midband is further enhanced by mounting the rear of the driver within a hidden sub-enclosure. By isolating the mid-bass driver not once but twice the external walls of the cabinet cannot colour the sound.

The binding post inputs are from world leaders WBT and feature conductors made of high purity copper, plated in 24 carat gold with a chromium finish.

In Issue 107 koos JV (Jonathan Valin - the absolute sound) Magnepan's lange, magere, drieweg, full range, quasi-ribbon, dipool MG 1.7 vloerstaander als een van zijn favoriete luidsprekers van de laatste 70 jaar.  Met een hoge resolutie, weinig vervorming, genoeg lage en hoge tonen (van superieure kwaliteit) om iedereen tevreden te stellen behalve een headbanger, en een middenbereik dat goed opgenomen stemmen en akoestische instrumenten met een verbluffend realisme weergeeft, is het een van die "sweet-spot" wonderen die om de tien of twee jaar de kop opsteekt.  De 1.7 gaf u een royaal voorproefje van alles waartoe zijn grotere en duurdere Maggie-broers in staat waren, voor een fractie van wat u zou betalen voor hetzelfde wonder in een dynamische top-line luidspreker. High in resolution, low in distortion, with enough bass and treble (of superlatively high quality) to satisfy anyone save a headbanger, and a midrange that reproduces well-recorded voices and acoustic instruments with jaw-dropping realism, it is one of those "sweet-spot" wonders that pops up every decade or two.  The 1.7 gave you a generous taste of everything its bigger and more expensive Maggie brothers were capable of for a fraction of what you'd pay for the same wonderment in a top-line dynamic speaker.  In his review of Maggie's latest version of this classic, the 1.7i, long time TAS reviewer John Nork (who purchased the review pair) was in complete agreement.

Kleine luidsprekers staan erom bekend dat ze een uitstekend stereobeeld produceren dankzij hun compacte formaat. Hoe kleiner de box, des te meer de luidspreker naar de achtergrond verdwijnt en instrumenten en stemmen tot leven komen alsof ze zich in de ruimte bevinden. Zelfs de beste kleine luidsprekers zijn echter dynamisch beperkt in vergelijking met vloerstaanders. FFION wil het beste van beide werelden combineren. Een slank taps toelopend kastontwerp zorgt ervoor dat de FFION een krachtige 8 inch driver unit discreet in de basis kan plaatsen, terwijl de slanke bovenkast een verbeterd geluidsbeeld produceert met een beeld dat karakteristiek is voor een veel kleinere luidspreker.

Dankzij de kenmerkende Aeroflex bas technologie kan de krachtige basdriver vrij ademen en kamervullende, accurate en dynamische lage frequenties produceren, of je nu luistert bij lage of hoge volumes. Een enorm poortensysteem loopt helemaal van de bovenkant van de kast naar de onderkant en zorgt voor een systeem dat vrij is van puffen en vervorming en dat de dynamische prestaties aanzienlijk verbetert. De schuine buiten- en binnenpanelen zorgen samen voor een kast die bijna volledig vrij is van parallelle oppervlakken, wat interne staande golven en resonanties enorm vermindert. Het voorste klankbord is naar achteren gekanteld om de uitvoer van de mid-bass en tweeter units op elkaar af te stemmen voor een gericht stereobeeld. Hoewel de FFION een volle meter hoog is, zorgt de bedrieglijk compacte voetafdruk ervoor dat deze vloerstaander gemakkelijk in de meeste luisterruimtes past.

Een Sonomex zachte koepeltweeter van 22 mm zorgt voor vloeiende en gedetailleerde hoge frequenties voor een omhullende luisterervaring die je oren niet vermoeit.
De 125 m (5 inch) mid-bass driver heeft een aluminium conus en een massief gelegeerde faseplug en een motorsysteem met dubbele kortsluitpaden voor een zeer lage vervorming.
De prestaties van de kritieke middenband worden verder verbeterd door de bovenste drivers in hun eigen behuizing te monteren volledig geisoleerd van het bassysteem.

Aansluitingen zijn afkomstig van wereldleider WBT en zijn voorzien van geleiders van zeer zuiver koper, geplateerd in 24-karaats goud met een chroomafwerking.

Our hallmark Aeroflex bass technology enables the powerful bass driver to breathe freely and produce room filling, accurate and dynamic low frequencies whether you’re listening at low or high volumes. The 125m (5") mid-bass driver features an aluminium cone and solid alloy phase plug and a motor system with twin shorting paths for very low distortion.
The performance of the critical midband is further enhanced by mounting the upper drivers within their own enclosure - completely isolated from the bass system.

Binding post inputs are from world leaders WBT and feature conductors made of high purity copper, plated in 24 carat gold with a chromium finish.
All of the components used in the crossover circuits are from industry leaders Mundorf. Air cored coils, ultra-low distortion capacitors and non-inductive metal oxide resistors ensure each driver can deliver its absolute maximum performance.

Ontwerp behuizing
Een schuine baffle zorgt voor een perfecte tijdsafstemming tussen woofer en tweeter. De top van de kast met afgeknotte piramide en het geminimaliseerde oppervlak van de baffle onderdrukt staande golven in de kast en zorgt voor een verbeterde 3D-weergave.
Door de kastconstructie opnieuw te baseren op Qln's unieke Qboard-technologie worden structurele resonanties geelimineerd. De basreflexpoort met zijn trompetvorm aan beide uiteinden elimineert luchtturbulentie.

Cabinet design
A slanted baffle provides perfect time alignment between woofer and tweeter. The truncated pyramid cabinet top with its minimised baffle area suppresses any standing waves inside the cabinet also offering improved 3D imaging.
By again basing the cabinet construction around Qln’s unique Qboard® technology, structural resonances are eliminated. The bass reflex port with its trumpet shape at both ends eliminates air turbulence.
Cabinet is de-coupled from the floor via solid feet with cones and pucks constructed out of hard, high damping materials.

De typische 2- of 2,5-weg oplossing met twee woofers en een tweeter beviel de constructeurs uit Essen niet, dus werd de ES-28N een puur drieweg-systeem met overgangsfrequenties van net onder de 300Hz en 2.800Hz.
 
De basisconstructie van de drivers werd bijgedragen door de twee EPOS-broers en zussen. De woofers delen het frame en het magneetsysteem met de ES14N, maar het membraan en de rand werden geoptimaliseerd voor de drieweg-taak.
De 130mm midrange driver werd geleverd door de ES-7N. Hier waren slechts kleine aanpassingen nodig om het midrange-gebied optimaal te dekken.
De tweeter is identiek aan die van de kleinere modellen.
De behuizing bestaat, net als bij alle modellen uit de EPOS-reeks, uit dubbele MDF-panelen plus een dempingslaag, waarbij de voorzijde met een dikte van 50 mm bijdraagt aan verdere stabilisatie.
De middentoner werkt natuurlijk in een aparte behuizing en zelfs het crossover-systeem kreeg een afgesloten omhulling om te voorkomen dat hoge geluidsdrukken de onderdelen tot trillingen zouden aanzetten.

De MAMBO 2 heeft twee aan de voorkant gemonteerde 115 mm drive units en een extra 115 mm unit verborgen in de kast die de basrespons verbetert en uitbreidt. De midbas wordt aangevuld door een 27 mm tweeter met een Sonolex gecoat stoffen membraan en een neodymium motorsysteem met lage vervorming. De uitstekende dispersiekarakteristieken in combinatie met de nauwe plaatsing in de kleine kast zorgen voor een naadloze integratie van de driver units en een ongelooflijk levensechte, realistische geluidsweergave.

Door de poortsystemen rechtstreeks in de kaststructuur te bouwen, zijn de buitenwanden verstevigd en worden paneelresonanties geminimaliseerd.

By building the port systems directly into the cabinet structure the outer walls are braced and strengthened minimising panel resonances.
